2025 Palestinian American sisters explore body-as-homeland in Body Watani dance project an interview with Shubhanjana Das at Sahan Journal.

2025 Body Watani receives Bridge Fund for Dance to support a Minneapolis performance of After the Last Red Sky to kick of their midwest tour. The work will be revived with reimagined choreography and live music, including public workshops and community engagement.  

2024 Body Watani receives NEFA’s National Dance Project award to create and tour After the Last Red Sky. Upcoming tours will engage our partners: Uprising Theater & Links Hall (Chicago) and the Arab American National Museum (Dearborn, MI).

2023 Body Watani receives Creative Expression funds through the Minnesota State Arts Board to support community engagement, public workshops, and creative process for new work.

2021-2023 Body Watani receives support from the National Performance Network to create and tour TERRANEA.
